
Summer Term 2025:
I hope that you all are well rested and ready for the last term of your primary years! Miss Woolford is the class teacher and Mrs Day is the classroom support professional.

We have some enthralling topics to learn about this year. We will be reading the book ‘Letters to the Lighthouse’ by our class author Emma Carroll as a class. We will be using the book ‘I believe in Unicorns’ to write diary entries.


In Maths, we will continue our work on decimals, being able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. We will also develop our knowledge of understanding the relationship between decimals, fractions and percentages and finding angles in different shapes.

Foundation Subjects
Our Science topic will include expanding our knowledge on
In Music lessons we will be looking at music during WW2.
During our Art lessons, we will be exploring sculptures and the work of Henri Moore.
In RE we will be answering and discussing the question ‘Do Christians, what kind of king is Jesus?’
In PSHE, we are learning about citizenship and economic wellbeing.
Our Computing sessions will involve learning about online safety and using the software Python and creating media.
During PE, we will be refining our rounders skills and showing good sportsmanship during athletics.
